Heikki, the Fourth Monster

We needed a bass and Heikki appeared at the last minute. He is steady, focused, reliable and quick to learn a new tune. Heikki’s band is The Drama Queens, who have an album out, and he has his own solo album out as well. It is wicked good. He was a singer/guitarist when he came to us. The bass you see is David’s. It’s a Squier Jazz Bass. The myth is out that Heikki had so much fun at our gig he ran out and bought his own bass. It is a Squier Precision Bass Special with jazz pickups and a wider custom neck. David is really jealous. But I have GOT to bring him in just to see how it sounds. Anyway, now you know the secret power of the Blue Monsters. We transform and absorb all who come to us. (Note the zombie like expression that can be mistaken for intense concentration on the music.) Ever since, Heikki has been attending the Monster Barbecues For New Initiates. He can sing a sweet “Sweet Jane”. He can sing and play with us anytime.
